Dining on campus isn’t one size fits all. Our meal plans were designed with you in mind. If you are looking to enjoy a meal with friends or just a snack on the go – we’ve got a plan to fit every appetite.

  • Do I need to buy a meal plan?
    All students residing in the residence halls participate in one of the Meal Plans unless they choose not to have one because they meet Pacific University Housing eligibility requirements and or exemption requirements.  Pacific University requires that all students residing in a room or unit WITHOUT a full kitchen, participate in meal plan 1, 2, 3 or 4. New students will automatically be signed up for the All-Access Meal Plan 4 and returning students select their meal plan during the spring Housing Lottery process.

  • Will my meal plan auto renew for next semester? 
    Yes your meal plan will auto renew each semester of the same academic year.  Meal plan changes can be done in the first two weeks of a new meal plan period.

  • Will unused meals or Declining Balance roll over? 
    Declining Balance (DB) come with Meal Plan purchases and expire at the end of Spring Semester. Dining Dollars are separate from Meal Plans and do not expire. Both are accepted as payment at all Dining Locations. They are loaded right on your Boxer ID card, so there is no need to carry around cash or another card! There is no minimum balance, over draft fees, or hassles! Just like a debit card the purchase amount is subtracted from the balance in your account. Check your account balance anytime by asking a cashier or linking your Boxer card to your online account.

    All DB rolls over from Fall to Spring and expires at the end of Spring Semester with the exception of a one time $100 DB carryover from Spring Semester to Fall Semester. Any Dining Dollars purchased through the year will roll over from year to year provided you are still a student at Pacific University.
     
  • If I have already purchased a meal plan, can I change it?
    If you would like to change meal plans, you may do so the first two weeks of Fall and Spring Semester. 

    Live ON Campus? This is done by filling out a Meal Plan Change Form through the Housing Office located in Clark Hall.
    Live OFF Campus? Visit the Business Office in Marsh Hall.
Don’t worry - simplicity and convenience are all within reach. Once you have a meal plan, your student ID works like a debit card. Just swipe your card and the meals and points are deducted from your meal plan account.

Our Meal Plans

Live ON Campus in Apartment or in Room with Full Kitchen
Students living on campus in apartment style housing with FULL kitchens can choose to sign up for any one of our Meal Plans.  All students living on campus must purchase Meal Plans through Housing.

All students have the opportunity to change Meal Plans during the first two weeks of the new semester (Fall and Spring). Students must visit the Housing Office for these changes.

Feel like you're going to run out of your Declining Balance (DB)? Add Dining Dollars anytime. They work just like DB, but don't expire. Pay with cash or credit card in the Dining Office or pay with credit card online. If you'd like to charge your Dining Dollar purchase to your student account, please visit Housing.
Live OFF Campus
NOTE: If this is your first time purchasing a meal plan online OR you've NEVER had a meal plan before, PLEASE VISIT DINING SERVICES in the University Center room 106 to be added to our meal plan database or your online meal plan purchase will not be complete.
